Today, Monday 12th October, Rodolphe Bouin, Chairman of the Futuroscope Board of Directors, Bruno Belin, Chairman of the departemental Council and the SEM Patrimoniale de la Vienne heritage management company, Dominique Marcel, Chairman of the Futuroscope Supervisory Board and of La Compagnie des Alpes, Eric Lombard, Managing Director of la Caisse des Dépôts, signed a new shareholders’ agreement committing the partners to a major investment plan worth 300 million euros over the next ten years (with ¾ to be invested before 2025). The expansion of the Park is expected to create 750 direct and indirect jobs.

Futuroscope opens its "Destination Mars" space training centre on the 28th March, featuring… the park’s first roller coaster! This new attraction gives visitors a chance to take the place of an astronaut, test their abilities and assess their suitability for a space mission.
